Animal tracks in clay

Hands on History has made a series of wooden blocks carved with the paw prints of the animals that would have been native to the British countryside, such as deer, wild boar, badger and fox.

All ages can roll out some of our air-drying clay onto a paper plate and then, using the blocks, imprint the tracks of the animals of their choice.

Alternatively the clay is ideal for making simple cups, bowls and dishes to take home.
