Have a go archery

From earliest times the bow has been one of man's most useful hunting tools.  Using a bow and arrow gave our ancestors a far greater chance of a successful hunt.  It quickly became a very effective weapon of war.

Hands on History can bring archery to your school or event and with a chance for all ages to 'Have a Go'.  With longbows, as used at Agincourt, the horse archer's recurve bows and modern complex laminated bows everyone can enjoy the thrill of archery.

With one-to-one supervision by our trained staff and the use of safety barriers and backscreens all ages can shoot at our 3D animal targets or traditional straw butts in a safe and controlled environment.
