About us Hands on History has developed a range of hands-on activities for both adults and children and all our equipment is available for everybody to See, Feel and Try. Using scripted presentations and dressing and equipping volunteers from your audience we can bring history alive for any period from the Iron Age and Roman Britain through to the Second World War. New for 2011, Hands on History is developing our equipment and presentations for the Neolithic and Bronze Ages, and The Greeks. We take our 'hands on' presentations and activities to schools and colleges, working with primary and secondary students at all Key Stages. We aim to make our activities available to all, having personal experience of learning and physical disabilities. We can supply packages with a difference for corporate events and team building sessions where staff training can be made more exciting by adding in those special historic extras. The Company is fully insured, our staff team is trained by us and are CRB checked. When you book Hands on History we will work with you to produce a package to suit your individual needs and budget and will supply you with any necessary paperwork including contracts, risk assessments and insurance documents. Hands on History has worked at museums and other Heritage sites and with organisations such as The National Trust, English Heritage, Leeds Castle, Penshurst Place and the BBC.
